El Sindicato de Actores anunció sus nominaciones para la 24º edición de los SAG Awards 2018, premiación que tendrá lugar el 21 de enero del próximo año y será presentado por Kristen Bell.
Las actrices Olivia Munn y Niecy Nash fueron las encargadas de realizar la lectura aunque se mantuvieron algunos nombres que han sido bastante relevantes durante el año como James franco, Gary Oldman, Margot Robbie, Saoirse Ronan, entre otras. Sin embargo, sorprende que no nominaran a Armie Hammer (Call Me By Your Name), Daniel Day-Lewis (Phantom Thread) y Meryl Streep (The Post), pese a que fueron nominados a los Golden Globes y han sido aclamados por sus performances.
Por otro lado, las películas Lady Bird y Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, se mantiene como favoritas compitiendo con 3 y 4 nominaciones respectivamente. Mientras que las series de Netflix, GLOW y Stranger Things, recibieron cuatro nominaciones, junto a Big Little Lies.
